Directions for Use
|
|
1. Remove the sterile tube from the package with
care. 2. Test inflation of the cuff, pilot balloon
and one way valve prior to use. 3. Deflate the
cuff completely after the inflation test. 4.
Apply lubricant on the cuff. 5. Intubation is
performed following currently accepted medical techniques. 6.
Insert syringe into one way valve and inflate the
cuff until suitable seal is reached. Do not over
inflate the cuff. 7. Remove the inner obturator
from the tube. 8. When connecting to respirator,
make sure the 15mm connector is firmly attached
to the respiratory circuit. 360 ° swivel connector
is recommended to be used between respiratory
circuit and the 15mm connector to avoid any tension 9.
Cuff pressure must be monitored continuously after
intubation (25 ~30cm H²O) 10. Extubation should
be performed following currently accepted medical
techniques. 11. Disposal of the device shall
be made in accordance with applicable national regulations
for biologically hazardous waste.
